How long does it take before a new profile has a "fan chart" option to open a fan chart?

This app doesn't appear to be able to access the data for unlisted profiles.

To access the fan chart app, choose the “My WikiTree” tab, then choose the “Family Tree & Tools” item on the menu, then choose the “Genealogy Research” tab, then scroll down until you see the Fan Chart item. Select it and then you may be asked to login. Then you can enter any WikiTree profile ID (including newly created profiles). The chart will draw up to a max of 11 generations.

I did this. But it is not available in a new profile I added today. Are there data points required before this will become available?
I tried it on one of my newly created profiles (Jones-93210) and it worked for me. What is the wikitree ID of the profile you are trying to create a fan chart on that doesn’t work?
Barton-8340
From what I was able to test, the app want display profile names when the privacy level for the profile is set to “private” or “unlisted”.
Thanks for the help.
I still can’t find the “Fan Chart” option. It doesn’t appear on the list of “Genealogy Research” items
It is not available on some private or non-member listing. Move up the tree to a less secure profile and try again.
Thank you. It works for my father who is “Public” but won’t work for me. I am “Private”.
I'm loving all the changes you've been working on--saving default settings, font choices, etc etc. I like to show the DNA Highlighting, but that's not coming through on the .pdf.  Is that on your roadmap?  And the text doesn't line up as nicely.   I would be nice if it were totally WYSIWYG when going to .pdf,  but I assume there are technical limitations that force you to reinvent the wheel-or the 180, or the 240?  (See what I did there?)  I think I'll try the windows snipping tool from the online one.  Then I'll be able to edit it in acrobat or illustrator-things like a more legible title, maybe some appropriate clip art around the sides,  and I can manually place little flags on my patriots, and fleur de lys on my filles du roi!  Let's see if it works - that way I won't subject  you to death by 1000 cuts with enhancement suggestions :)

Wikitree does not have a "fan chart" view; there is the standard 5-generation view (back to great-great-grandparents) and a dynamic tree view with as many generations as you can fit on your screen.

That's an app which isn't integrated into the main tree view? I can't get that by using the dropdown menu from my profile.
Ooh. That's fun!
