The pandemic has me yearning for connections and I've been putting a lot of time researching my family tree. Although I've had some success on Ancestry using their DNA test, I'm just beginning to learn the benefits of the work here on wikitree.
If anyone has tips on how to get past the brick wall of economically disadvantaged Italian or Irish immigration, that would be very helpful. While my line that was mostly American/British has been entered by previous users, I'm going in cold on the other half of my entire family tree.
The Igneri's of Calabria Italy and the Hallorans of Munster Ireland are my main foci now.
Thanks in advance,
