Thanks Peter!  Of course these utilities can only return interpretations of Y-DNA relationships informed by STRs. STRs are extremely limited in the relationships suggested by integer counts of mutations regardless of when they actually occur. Endogamy has obscured many of these predicted relationships or estimated branch ages in European populations.  A much better alternative is to test SNPs and use YFull.

Leake, Any idea why YFull can provide branch ages and FTDNA can not?
Also can you provide examples of how endogamy is obscuring branch ages?
