Maria Robinson was the fiancé of Wallace Henry Hartley the Violinist Notable who perished aboard Titanic’s ill fated Maiden voyage. She gave to her fiancé the violin to which legend says was attached to his heart when is body was recovered. The love story which ended at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean. She never married and passed away in 1939 in England however we need help with obtainIng sources for her.

From bits of information collected from several different news articles as well as some searching through census records, I've deduced that Maria Elizabeth Robinson was born in Leeds, Yorkshire in 1878 to George Henry Robinson, a successful cloth merchant in Leeds. I found a census record from 1881 listing her as Mary Elizabeth Robinson in George's household.
