Cryptic Journal Reference

Hi All,

I have a reference to a journal article, and I'm having no luck using Google to try to figure out what it is.  The reference reads:

Md. Mist. Mag., vol. 8, p. 199

I get Maryland, and Mag is almost certainly magazine, but what is "Mist."  Anyone know this journal?

I'm wondering if it could be a typo because there is a publication named Maryland Historical Magazine.  If that's it, you can see:

http://mdhs.mdsa.net/mhm/index.cfm

for info about it.

Good Luck!

Thank you, Erin and Gaile!  I suspect you are both correct and it's a typo.  Am now off searching to confirm the reference (thanks for the link, Gaile!).

WOO HOO!!!  Got it!  And the MHM site has the full journal in PDF - FREE!  Thanks so much, once again, to both of you.  G2G ROCKS!  :-)

Is it handwritten? If it could possibly be an H that looks like an M, perhaps they meant the Maryland Historical Magazine
