Need connections for John D. Hart born 11-12-1882 and died 08-06-1953. Lived in Export, PA.

Question

I have a funeral card that he was buried in Denmark-Manor Cemetery in Export, PA. My mother handwrote on the card that he was my father's step-grandfather, but as he is only 11 years older than my dad's step-father, that is most likely incorrect. My dad's step-father was Forrest V. Hart. Census accounts say that his parents were James B. Hart and Rebecca J. Hart. So who is John D. Hart? Where does he fit into the puzzle?
