It's a dead end or brick wall. Can not find any proof of his

parents, two possible places of birth. Either ST. Joseph,Buchanan,Clay County, from death .He was murdered on a train, as a brakeman on a Burlington Railway train.,rushing to the conductor who was being robbed. On August 20,1890.The St. Joseph Herald's,paper.

The other possible place, is Tazewell,Illinois. My sister thinks his father is Ambrose Benjamin White, wife ,Emma Thompson, as his parents. But paper said his parent as

John White. Also Edward uses his middle name,Joseph,as

first,sometimes.

It would appear that Edward's parents are Jackson White and Emma Thompson, according to his marriage record to his first wife Eva Young. See "Iowa, County Marriages, 1838-1934," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:KCWW-RGZ : 4 November 2017), Edward J. White and Eva May Young, 01 Apr 1884, Wapollo, Louisa, Iowa, United States; citing reference p 126, county courthouses, Iowa; FHL microfilm 1,006,647.
