Is there a project that covers these pre-1700 people?

I want to contribute to the deep genealogy on our shared tree. Here are people I can add, along with dates and locations:  I would like to add George Wenman's profile to my tree.  I have not found a baptism record for him, but England and Staffordshire church records state that he was 29 when he got married 1718.  However, Oxford University Alumni states he was 17 when he matriculated in 1708 from Merton College, so there is a slight discrepancy.  There is also a discrepancy as to his year of death. It also states that he is the son of William Wenman, gent, from London who I haven't managed to find any record of for the past 10 years.

Here are the sources I am using:

Could I please get advice on how to proceed.

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding? Thank you!

Your sources are good, so there's no reason you shouldn't go ahead and add him. In terms of learning about the style guidelines and English sources in general, you could consider joining the England Project. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:England

Since you don't have a birth record, you should give him an estimated date of birth of 1690, and just put "England" for the place of birth.
