Maria Carmen Magallanes was born 23 Jan 1907. Her father's name reads Ramon. See record no. 27

I was reading maria del carmen record and her paternal grandparents read victor and maria nor del real but on her fathers birth record his parents names are jose julian Magallanes and maria rojas.  we also always thought her birthday was june 16, 06

I think that Ramon Magallanes, the son of Julian Magallanes and Maria Rojas, is not the father of Maria del Carmen.

The children of Julian Magallanes and Maria Rojas were christend in Tepetongo (Tepetongo is abt. 70 km. North from Momax). The names of the places the family was living in are Juanchorrey and Cueva Grande.

The siblings of Ramon Magallanes, the father of Maria del Carmen, were christened in Momax. The family was living in Coculiten and Rancho de San Jose.

Besides, the name of Maria del Carmen's christening godmother is Maria Trinidad del Real, close relative of Rafael's mother, Maria Nabor del Real, for sure.

it should actually be roman .. then both ramons ( as stated) were married to a Feliciana alvarez.  maria del carmen also had a sister born 1901 maria Guadalupe Magallanes .  my mom also mentioned that my grandmother was near la joya, or los reales

Maria Guadalupe Magallanes was christened 3 Apr 1901. She was born 1 Apr 1901 in "el rancho de los Reales". In this record, her father's name clearly reads Román (with written accent over the "a"!). Román's parents listed are Victor Magallanes and Nabor del Real.

I think that I found Román Magallanes in the 1930 Census, he was living in "La Joya". See line no. 14 in this document.

He was married by civil law and in the church.

May Dolores Diaz be his 2nd. wife?

There is also a Victor Magallanes (named after Román's father?)

Román Magallanes in the 1930 Census is Maria del Carmen's father. He was Feliciana Alvarez's husband. Their son Victor was christened 1 Dec 1910. Victor was born 18 Nov 1910 in "La Joya". See record no. 159 in the RH page here.

According to the 1930 Census, Román Magallanes was born abt. 1870.

Despite there are no christening record nor marriage(s) record(s) for him by now, there is no doubt he was the son of Victor Magallanes and Maria Nabor del Real.
