I can only find the FindaGrave profile for Gerda Bax:

https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/211782568/gerda-bax

and the FindaGrave profile for Wilhelm Bax:

Thanks for your efforts Anne.  The Find-a-Grave memorials are already mentioned as sources.

Like Anne, I haven't had any luck. People crisscross the border in that neck of the woods, so I checked the American side, too, but nothing. Unfortunately, the OurOntario.ca site is down. It features local newspapers. When it's running again, you might check it out.

I looked in the Voters Lists on Ancestry and couldn't even find  them there.

There is an interactive website for this cemetery where you can see where your loved one is buried. They even have a photo of Wilhelm and Gerda's headstone

You might try calling the cemetery as they hold business hours, and see if there is any other information to be had from their files - next of kin, funeral home, etc.

I'm sorry we can't be of much help Frank!

The Niagara Falls public library has an online index for BMD announcements in the Review (aka Evening Review & Niagara Falls Review) for select peroids from 1908 including from 1984 to present. Unfortunately, neither Wilhem nor Gerda are mentioned.  Only death notices for a Lucy Bax published 18 Aug 1937 and for Willemyna (nee Bolluyt) Bax published 1 May 1964.  I suppose that the St. Catharines Standard might be a good possibility but I do not know of any online source.

Good resource to know about, John! Do you happen to have the link handy?

Sure, Laurie.  Here is the link  http://www.nflibrary.ca/nfplindex/start.asp?db=cari

Thanks, John.
