If I know a marriage date for a couple, but only currently have the DOB for one of the spouses (for example, I currently know the what would be the wife's information, but not her husbands DOB) can I still add the Husband's name and their marriage date and location or is it best to wait until i have at least an estimate of a DOB.

I would put the information in the biography and not create the spouse's profile.

you really only need a single source to prove that a person existed.

once you create that profile, then you can find more sources to flesh it out later

As long as you have a proper source for the marriage, you should be able to make a reasonable estimate as to DoB. I would go ahead and create the profile.

Add the {{Estimated Date}} template on the Husband profile and state in the biography that you are 'estimating' the birth date based on 'marriage date' or whatever else, so people will know it is estimated.
