The presidential project team needs your help.  There are many Harrison's on WikiTree that have ancestors in need of merging.  Just as with the Adams and Bush's we have two presidents named Harrison that are related.  If you have any Harrison's in your ancestor tree it would be extremely helpful for us to have you ensure that they are unique.  Merging spouses and children is complicated so if you need help plesae let me know.  We are doing everything we can to avoid creating orphan profiles.  Many current Harrison profiles are missing all dates which makes them extremely difficult to identify.  If you know can get close to a birth or death year that is better than blanks when trying to decide if two Robert Harrisons are the same or not.

Benjamin Harrison is Harrison-913 and William Harrison is Harrison-912

Your help will be greatly appreciated.,

Thanks

My gr. Grandmother was Rhoda Jane Harrison. She was married to Henry Locken, a German immigrant. They lived in North Powder, Oregon. She was the daughter of Thomas Jefferson Harrison. I have researched the line, and, from the best that I can tell, the family line traces to Tippy canoe. This has not been verified, most of my research has come from the LDS site, and subsequent internet searches. If this is of any interest, or should you have additional information, please feel free to contact me.

I have Harrison's that are in my line. My Grandmother was a Harrison. Her Father was Noah Oliver "Ollie" Harrison born Feb. 26, 1889 died June 17, 1960 buried in Murray, KY. His Father was Alfred D. Harrison born in Sumner County, Tennessee in 1855-1936 married to Saphronia Dulaney. They lived in Obion County, TN and Graves County, KY. Alfred's Father was William Henry Harrison ( went by Henry), born in early to mid 1820's and  lived in Sumner County, TN and Obion County, TN. first marriage in Sumner County in 1840's to Sarah Graves of Sumner County. I'm at a block on verifying the parents of William Henry. Some say it is Benjamin Franklin Harrison from Overton County, TN. It is possible since Sumner county back in that time was the original county and not Overton. All of William Henry's children have most of the same Names as Ben's children. i.e. Granville. If anyone has any information on this family It would be greatly appreciated. I can provide in depth information on all siblings from this line to my Grandparent's.

I have Harrisons supposedly in Obion in early 1800's. Do you also have Varnell's in your Harrison line? i think they met up in TN and traveled together to AL, MS, eventually ending up in AR.

My grandmother was a Harrison. I have traced her great grandfather William Henry Harrison-8240 to Dist. 15, Sumner County, Tennessee. Several people have Benjamin Franklin Harrison of Overton County, TN from Mecklenburg, Virginia as his Father, this is possible. Several researchers prior to Ancestry online have written this. The name lines are the same for first names. However, with technology, there is another person that is that has the same name William Henry or Henry Williamson Harrison that could be Benjamin's Son.  I need help on this brick wall. There are three possible lines that could be his Father. There is a James Harrison in Dist.3, of Sumner County, Tennessee as a possible Father. Highly likely, only issue is the Districts are far apart and not a good migration route to support this. There is another possibility in Allen County, Kentucky the county to the North of Sumner and next to Dist.15 Sumner County, TN. Henry was born in Tennessee.

I believe that all of these Harrison's are related somewhere down the line as distant cousin's. Please help clear up this brick wall.
