The help page template instructions for making a link to an Ancestry media image isn't working. Has it changed?

Can you add which profile you are trying to create the link for? The template has not changed. I have an Ancestry account and will be able to see what is happening.

I see the # for the tree, and person, but the media # (needed per help directions) also has letters that aren't allowed.

I believe that letters are allowed. Based on the link that you provided, I used the template to create this:

{{Ancestry Tree Media|152575209|9585c601-2e86-4d19-b7c6-767040033bb5}}

which results in a Media link that leads to this page:

I just tested the link on one of my profiles and it worked. Which template are you using?

I used the format for adding a web link. The bracket then URL, space then name the link, close bracket.

Thanks Rick. That worked. Seems like I had tried that. I am guessing that I may have used "Ancestry Record" accidentaly, instead of "Ancestry Tree Media" - or typed something wrong. Thanks again.

Thanks Laura. One of the team captains on the last Clean-a-thon had suggested using a template (for Ancestry record links), using the "{{Ancestry Record|****|****}}" format, so they may still work if Ancestry changes the url or format. I think. Also, we share 5 cM, and show as distant cousins!

Wow, what a nice surprise! I do have Howard's on both my paternal and maternal sides. All of them are not connected back as far as I would like yet. What I do have has us as 9th cousins 2x removed on WikiTree. We share Thomas Besson as are closest common ancestor grandfather right now. 

I have a lot more people on Ancestry I will have to look at that.

I just looked at Ancestry. It appears that we have at least 1 other connection closer than what WikiTree shows. No doubt due to the fact that I have not connected all my lines in yet.
