Question

TV host Hugh Downs (1921-2020) has died.  Can we connect him to Wikitree?  Check out his Wikipedia profile.

It appears that he has a profile at Downs-1544. It is Unlisted. The Notables Project will need to add the death date so it can be opened up

Oh, he was so good, and my mom watched The Today Show every morning when I was a kid. Just saw he was 99 years of age.

I remember him from my childhood -- he always seemed no nice.  My most vivid memory of him was as the host for the Concentration game show.  My sister and I really enjoyed that program.

I was so very saddened to hear of his death. I watched him. My mother and dad watched him. My grandparents watched him. For me, he is an ancestral media-caster for my family. 

Our communication program at Arizona State University is named the Hugh Downs School of Human Communication.
