New member introducing myself

My family has the oldest unbroken family history in the world supposedly. My great grandmother inherited 15 centuries of journals, bibles, birth and wedding certificates. We come from a very long line of educated people and were always at the highest levels of society. We kept a continuous history with family trees, all births weddings and deaths recorded for every member of our family. Our tree stretched all across the world from china to the Middle East to Africa to Europe and Russia and touched every continent on earth, it was beautiful and complete with over 40 yrs of work put into it by Carrie Skinner and her Daughter Eula Bensch. It also connected to every person everywhere somehow. All the journals were stolen by inheritance hunters who have changed everthing around and replaced my entire family with different people. The reason was my family inherited the Louisiana purchase, The US didn't purchase the mineral rights and then failed to pay the mortgage for 300 yrs until it defaulted. Believe it or not we own the French land grant for the entire Louisiana purchase or 2/3 of the US everything west of the Mississippi. Its not going to do much for us, since I'm pretty sure they'd slaughter every member of the family, I mean its that much money, its crazy. The worst part of all this historic blather is the amount due was only 53 million dollars in 1970. Oh yeah, one final note Jefferson took the money to buy Monticello and remodel it.

Any suggestions on how to foreclose on an enire country. LOL just kidding we want to trade land grant for just the unclaimed property with an agreement to reimburse all claimants that come forward.

Id appreciate any suggestions on how to proceed.

Well, this is a genealogical site where we document and research our roots.  I'm not sure we are qualified to give legal advice, but welcome to Wikitree. I hope you find what you are looking for.

Welcome to WikiTree & G2G Mickel! We can help you try to rebuild your family tree here. You have come to the right place for that.

That is some history your family has. It should be well documented other than what records your family had. Good luck and you can always ask for help here in G2G if you need to. smiley
