Colonial Tax & Tithables Lists

Question

Is there either/or a citation, source, reference template for colonial tax and tithable lists. Or perhaps something similar to what EE censusf displays?

There is not a template for that.

I often refer to this page [link] as a rough guide on citations for a wide variety of record types.

There is a 'complete' (and complicated) example given on the Evidence Explained site of citing a tax roll:

Thank you for the links. The Evidence Explained link is very detailed about citation/source. But it's written in an easy to understand way. That's a bookmark!

It sometimes boggles the mind at how in depth what one might call a simple citation can be. One could certainly spend an equal amount of time between preparing citations and the actual research. I had never thought of it as being a layered object and now that I see it that light, it makes perfect sense.
