What would it take for profile managers to be notified of G2G posts linked to profiles they manage?

As you know, many of us -- especially in the Puritan Great Migration Project -- use g2g posts to discuss disputed information found on profiles. We find this a good way to discuss, report, share findings etc. that would otherwise clutter the profile.

However, we've been working under the apparently mistaken assumption that profile managers would be notified when a g2g post is linked to a profile they manage. Apparently, that's not so. PMs are NOT getting notified. This is a problem.

While of course we could post a comment on said profile, alerting PMs to the g2g post, that's an extra couple of steps.

So... what would it take for PMs to be notified of g2g posts linked to profiles they manage?

Thanks.

New questions and answers should appear in the activity feeds, which you should get via e-mail and on various web pages.

Is this not happening? What's an example where it didn't happen?

It might not happen if the question is attached to a profile after it's asked.

Hi Chris,

Thank you for the clarification.
What I'm asking for is the equivalent of what I get when someone posts a Comment on the profile of which I am a manager.

I get an email message with a link to the profile, telling me that there has been a comment posted.

I'm requesting the same kind of message-- i.e., a separate email message, not one of many in a list on a feed that I'll only see if it included a tag that I happen to follow-- when someone posts a g2g question that is linked to a profile I manage.
Hi Jillaine. I don't mean the daily Wiki Genealogy Feed for followed tags. I mean activity feeds. It's recorded in the history of a profile. You can get real-time updates on the web or in the once-a-week Family Activity Feed e-mail. I can see why an instant e-mail alert would be preferable for some people but it isn't practical right now.
