Do Anonymous G2G users even SEE our responses?

Question

The bulk of messages posted to the Genealogy area of G2G are from anonymous posters. I enjoy trying to answer some of these questions, but I rarely (ever?) get responses to the Anonymous ones. How (if at all) do anonymous g2g users get notified of responses? Thanks.

Hi Jillaine,

Good question. They do see the responses, though we can't be 100% sure. Most will leave an e-mail address when they post anonymously. It's clear on the ask-a-question form that this is necessary if they want to hear the answer to their question.
