Thank you for your reply. I think that may be her, but how is Richard related to her? Records do show that she was born in SC, but She did not have a child named Richard that I can find anywhere. She had several children and many grandchildren still living in Alabama and Georgia, so why wasn’t she with one of them? Those questions are puzzling to me and make me wonder if the Eliza in South Carolina is the same person.  I wonder if she left her husband, because she does not show up in the census with him and her younger children.David Hutto’s will does not mention her either.  Are you researching this family, also?

I would say Eliza Jane died between 1855 and1860 in Alabama, JMO. Didn't find her listed on Find a Grave in Hutto Cemetery.

David remarried in Sep 1860 and died and is buried in hutto cemetery, Henry Co, AL
