My grandmother's parents died in the Spanish flu when she was still a baby. She was raised by her grandmother and all her aunts was her "sister". Unfortunately, I know no one alive that can give me more information on her. My mother remember an aunt/sister Lottie Pitzer or Anna Pitzer and a Dolf Jordaan that was the son of one of her aunts/sister. They all lived in Ficksburg, Orange Free State.

Wow wow wow, thank you thank you thank you this is the first time that I get one thing of my paternal grandmother.  Will her birth record also be available as I need her parents name to go further with the ancestor tree?

Thank you Marion.  I did try her birth records around 1917 and there is nothing for the Dutch Reformed church during that time.  During the time she was born all record are from Fauresburg, I wonder how accurate the record during that time, the spanish flu, was. She lost both her parents and brother Frans in the flu when she was just over a year.
