Question about Shadrach Barnes

Does anyone have verification that Shadrach Barnes was related to Beale Barnes (b. 1777 d 1847)?

Found it. Looking at [[Barnes-1005|Richard Barnes]] bio, it seems likely that Beale is a descendant of that Barnes line. Richard's grandmother was a Beale. But it seems unlikely (though not impossible) that Richard and Susanna were Beale's parents. Maybe his grandparents? Some bios have Susanna dying in 1774, three years before Beale was born.

Cristina, yes, I think this info is unlikely as well. I have seen many instances of Richard dying before Beale's birth, as well as, like you note, Susanna dying before him.

There are occasions where Shadrack and Beale are listed as brothers. Shadrack is fairly well known and documented in books, and I have found no reference to Beale being his brother in these books. Thanks for you assistance.
