Hello! I'm searching for a German Soldier Hans Lens/Lenz that was born in 1927 and i believe he died around 1945/1946 in the war. I came across this record and was wondering what the date on the bottom right corner meant, because I believe this record could possibly be for him. thank you! https://www.ancestry.com/sharing/20910880?h=027d2a&utm_campaign=bandido-webparts&utm_source=post-share-modal&utm_medium=copy-url

The name is Hans-Wilhelm Lenz, his rank was Ltn. (lieutenant), location of death HVPl (Hauptverbandsplatz =  Mobile Surgical Hospital), Sanko 2/178 (Sanitätskompanie 2/178 = medical company 2/178) Ovechi b. (near) Oischa. With the two location names I am not sure.

Wast.-San.-L. 82/110 -  23.10.1946. The date is the date this index card was created. The death must have been reported after the war, because there is nothing else reported like unit, birth date and number of identity tag.

His name is Hans-Wilhelm LenZ (with the hyphen and z).

I am not too sure about the stuff in the last line. It seems to me that the Deutsche Dienststelle (WaSt) informed the family of Hans-Wilhelm Lenz on 23 Oct 1946 that he died during the war. But I would like others who have more experience with this kind of document to confirm that is true.
