My name is Kim Marcus.  I hope this where I am suppose to introduce myself.

The learning curve coming from Ancestry to WikiTree is like falling off a cliff. That is lots to learn.

The tutorials have been quite helpful. Looking at FAQ's too. So many. Found a great example from someone welcoming me so, I am using her profile and tree as an example.

I'm 64 (almost wrote 62, time does fly) retired and eager to document my immediate family. I have been collecting and collaborating with family for a few years. Lots of data to share.

I like the object oriented approach and collaboration this site offers. You'll see me asking questions, already have. Thanks for all the welcomes and help. I'm fast tracking...

Hi Kim! Welcome to WikiTree! I, too, am one of the sixty-plussers here. Yes, there is a learning curve, but WikiTree is such a wonderful place to document your family history because it's so easy to be creative here--going beyond the bare facts and telling the story of the person. Hope you'll have much enjoyment and accomplish all you desire!
Welcome Kim, I haven’t been here 2 years yet, but have learnt heaps from the volunteers here. Ask as many questions as you need, after all the only stupid question is the one you DIDN’T ask.

You might like to join a project at some time, a group of like-minded volunteers working in a specific area.

Have fun!
Marion, took a while, but I just joined my first project. Southern Colonies Bio Builders Team.

Hope you're doing well.

Kim
Nelda,

I'm enjoying working on this site and with the wonderful wiki-tree enthusiasts.

Thanks,

Kim
