I believe I may have an ancestor that was a French Huguenot. Can I please get some help in finding out where they settled once they fled religious persecution.

There was a Huguenot settlement at Manakintown in Virginia.  This might be useful:  https://www.huguenotmanakin.org/

There is a national Huguenot society and a South Carolina Huguenot society. My Huguenot ancestors settled in Charleston, SC, so I have used their website. They also have a bookshop. You can find jewelry designed with the Huguenot cross.
I think there are additional Huguenot societies or associations. You can join some of them if you are interested in Huguenot history. To join others, you have to prove descent, like the DAR or SAR.

Interesting article. I always thought my ancestor, John Bouton or Boughton, was a Huguenot. He settled in Norwalk, Connecticut. But it is believed that he first went to England and then came to Connecticut with them.

Same here. My maternal ancestors were French Huguenots and they came to Staten Island and what is now Brooklyn.

I have an ancestor who was born in London to Huguenot parents in 1700 and came to Virginia as an indentured servant in 1722.

Some of them came to Charleston, South Carolina. The oldest and only indepedent Huguenot Church in the U.S. is there. There are some names listed on this Wikipedia page for the French Huguenot Church

FamilySearch has a lot of information on Huguenots in the United States and it covers several states, and covers the history.

My ancestors from northeast France came to America in 1732 via Rotterdam. They arrived in Philadelphia and moved on to western Maryland. From there my 6th great aunt removed to Bardstown, Kentucky in 1797.
