Greetings Gene .. This is an extensive family history. Aaron is mention in the line from his father. "  John Prescott (Edward Prescott, William Prescott, James Prescott, William Prescott, James Prescott, , Richard, Thomas, Robert, , Richardus, Patricus, Patricus, Richard) was born about 1626 in Ince, Lancashire, England. He died in 1686 in Norfolk Co, Virginia. He had the following children: 212 M i. Moses Prescott was born about 1653. He died on 24 Jun 1724 in Virginia. Moses married (1) Isabell . Moses married (2) Elizabeth in 1720. 213 M ii. Aaron Prescott was born about 1660 in England. He died before 12 Jul 1720 in Currituck Precinct, North Carolina. " 

Found this in regard to Currituck Tax Records: " [Deed Book 3, pgs. 119-120] Wm. & Johanna PARKER to Aaron PRESCOTT. April 14, 1713. Wm. PARKER of the prect of Currituck in the county of Albemarle and province of NC and Aaron PRESCOTT of the same place afsd. Wm. PARKER and Johanna his wife for the sum of £25 current money paid by Aaron PRESCOTT. "

There is confusion in this information.  Of the 3 mid1600s Prescott immigrants to the US ... NONE, repeat NONE, of their parentage is known. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:John_Prescott_Ancestry_Disproved

Genealogist Adell T. Prescott also proved The Prescott Memorial was incorrect relative to the parentage of James Prescott (1665).  

She has never been able to prove the correct parentage of the above two or of John Prescott of Virginai (1653).

Interesting Gene .. The " family narrative" associated with the genealogy reference as listed is definitely lacking sources and has insufficient evidence base data.  I'm not a Prescott researcher. I enjoyed reading the information you shared from WikiTree.

I've been doing a little searching regarding Aaron and it took me a little while to find that some of the information looks like it might be off a bit.

For example, it looks like his full name is "James Aaron Prescott" and his wife's name is "Lydia Williams"

I can modify, update, correct, etc... the profile a bit if you'd like to help jump start your search.

Aaron, son of John Prescott of Virginia (1653), wife's name was Esbell.  So it doesn't appear that the James Aaron you reference is the correct Aaron.
