Lookng for parents of Cuthbert Bunting born 1815

I thought I had them and then realized that what I had would have made his mother 60 when she had him in1815.  Unable to locate any leads and no one in my family knows.

Can we have a location?
I believe he was born April 21, 1815 in Pennsylvania..
I'm not initially seeing any clues as to his origin in Pennsylvania. The 1836 Ohio marriage record gives no clues to his or her origin and that is the earliest document that I see. Do you have any clues for names of siblings?
I see some highly questionable genealogy at Ancestry on him. It has him as son of Samuel and Septima originally of Bucks and supposedly later Erie County, Pennsylvania. I think this highly unlikely as Septima would have been age 60 when Cuthbert was born 1815--that's just the tip of the iceberg sized problems with what is seen at Ancestry.
Agree.  I had a whole line done in Ancestry and deleted it as his mother would have been so old.  I had his father was William and mother as Margery Woolston - but that didn't make sense and neither does Samuel and Septima.  I'm wondering if there is a missing generation.  A friend thinks maybe this came from a will?

Are the children of each child of Samuel documented?

In History of Erie County, Pennsylvania the Bunting surname appears twice: a/ pg 100 at Tamazine (Bunting) Cottrell from Bucks County is mentioned; b/ pg 181  Mrs Daniel Bunting is mentioned.

In the multi-volume History of Bucks County there are many Buntings seen in Vol 1 but the given name Cuthbert nowhere appears. Cuthbert being somewhat uncommon as a given name I thought it might be seen as a family name but it's not a family name from the Buntings of Bucks.

I'm working backwards from Cyrus Bunting who was married to Eliza Jane Popham.  I've been able to work forward from Quaker meeting minutes but there seems to be a generation that is missing.  Maybe born in Ohio......thanks for looking.  I'll keep looking.
Is the Cyrus Bunting you mention in WikiTree? I don't see him.
No - just started working in Wiki tree - been using Ancestry

If you click this link, you should get a list of all Bunting surnamed people presently in WikiTree in date order. Maybe you can find some part of the family group you are working on already in WikiTree giving you someplace to 'hang' profiles which are not yet here. There are a maddening number of Bunting profiles which do not give geographic location (but most can be found out from parents or offspring).

Thank you for your input.  I believe that there was a generation was missed.  I tripped on a comment about four brothers and their father.  One of his brothers was Cutberth and when I looked for the new mother we figured it out.  It looks like everyone is just copying and not looking at dates.  Think this is solved...took two days and two people looking.
Look forward to seeing your successfully linked profiles in WikiTree. It will undoubtedly help others.
