Need help reading handwriting, US death cert [closed]

Can anyone read the first word for the cause of death on this death certificate?

My best guess is puerperal eclampsia (usually childbirth related).

In the line "what test confirmed diagnosis", there is no info. The line just below is the M.D.'s signature.

Thanks, Melanie. Looks like Bertha got pregnant almost immediately after getting married and died the day after childbirth. Fortunately, the child lived. She died the day after his birth. This is so very sad.
