Yvonne - A cursory search for "Guy Reed, Any Records, British Columbia" on www.familysearch.com returned several results, including this interesting one: https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/JD8N-SZB (a marriage in 1928) and this one: https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/FL2B-RM7 (A death Record).

I haven't found any baseball-specific information.

FamilySearch is free and can be very helpful if you search creatively.  I Hope this points you in the right direction.
