William Strew born London 1820 died Auckland NZ 1913 - did the family immigrate from Europe

Question

William married Jane Carr (1821b) unsure of death.

William was a London tailor - however I found a William Strew in a workhouse in London and assume his son William already in NZ may have bought him to live there.  Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
