John Thomas Shaw was founder of Shaw and Gaskell Engineering, Hull, married to Annie Elizabeth Ainley. Other family surnames of interest include: Ward (Essex and Newcastle-upon-Tyne), Roy (Newcastle and Banff, Scotland), Calder (Banff/Elgin, Scotland), Horner ,(Yorkshire inc Hull and Beverley), Lister (Yorkshire inc Hull, Leeds, Halifax, Bramley).

Am trying to get back beyond John Shaw's father William George Shaw b1829 Howden d 1887 Hull. Also moving forward anything about John (Thomas) Shaw's children and their children (my cousins). Especially my grandfather Tom Shaw who had my Dad Ernest Shaw, b 16 April 1924 Hull d 7 April 1977 Grimsby, with Ida Horner b 29 Nov 1895 Hull d 1963 Grimsby. Grateful for any help please.

1829 ,was living in Bowden Yorkshire,Family Search may have

something,but for some reason i cannot access family Search,

On birth record has Family Anglican.I beleive Anglican was

part of Catholic Church.
