there is an Eldorado Gordon, recorded as born either in March 1850 or in 1853, who appears in the 1880 census in DeKalb County, Georgia, with wife Martha, and on the 1900 census in Rockdale County, Georgia, with wife Mattie. This is probably the same Eldorado "Gordin" who married Martha Perkins in DeKalb County in 1877.
This Eldorado Gordon appears with a son named John B. Gordon in 1900. There is no indication that this Eldorado Gordon is related to John Brown Gordon who was governor of Georgia.
