OK my match was rejected.. First time for everything.. Someone else please check again and confirm that Nancy (Dowling) Walker (Dowling-204) is indeed a daughter of Jabez and Rebecca. Here is her FAG:

If so, please fix/merge her parents.

1850, 1860, and 1870 Census, born in South Carolina 1807.

9 ancestry.com profiles also claim same Jabez and Rebecca were her parents.

Incidentally, my aunt, a great uncle and me are all descendants of this same Dowling line of Jabez Dowling starting with Robert b 1730, but I have no idea how yet.

Mike, my Ancestry.com tree may be one of those nine trees you found with Nancy Dowling in it. When you posted about this the other day, I did try to search for some documentation to prove that she was/was not Jabez's daughter and I could not find anything. The book on the Dowlings, A Dowling Family of the South, (pages 3-4) has Nancy as Jabez's daughter but does not source that relationship. This may be where I originally got the information I put in my tree, as did those who set up the other Ancestry trees. 

I am descended from Robert Dowling also (his son John.) One of the things I wanted to do was look at Thru-Lines to see if I had any DNA matches with descendants from his son William, which might include his son Jabez and Jabez's alleged daughter Nancy in their lineage, but I have not been able to access Thru-Lines. (The message I get says my linked tree is private, but it's not.)

I wish I could be more help in providing proof.

Yes, good call Nelda, should be straightforward to atDNA-match Nancy's known descendants with her candidate siblings' known descendants.

Okay, Mike, I finally got Ancestry to help me regain access to Thru-Lines. I do not have any DNA matches which include Nancy Dowling. I have one DNA match to Jabez Dowling, but it is through his son Jabez L. Dowling. So, that was of no help either. Sorry.

Most of her siblings' wikitree profiles seem to also lack sources. Elizabeth Dowling, William Dowling, Sarah E Dowling, Gabriel Dowling, Sally Dowling .

From "A Dowling Family of the South" which is acutally cited in Jabez's wikitree profile:

""The 1810 Barnwell census shows that beside the above two daughters JABEZ also had three others, all of whom were born within ten years prior to that date. One of these would have been NANCY, born 1807, who married Jeremiah Walker, Sr., about twentytwo years later. This couple resided in the southern part of Georgia and reared the eleven children named on Chart 311."
