Symmes Family Assistance Needed

Question

We need your help if you have any relatives in the Symmes family.  Can you please look at your profiles and also any suggested merges?  Somehow we have 3 nearly identical trees loaded.  Thanks!

I have Zacariah Sims DOB 1748 Culpepper, VA  DOD 1789 Laurens, SC  in my tree.  He married Elizabeth Graves (determined NOT to be a descendant of Capt Thomas Graves).    Some have his mother and father as Thomas Sims DOB 1702 DOD 1784 and Rebecca Petty DOB 1701 DOD 1784.  I listed this in my family tree but don't have documentation for that.

Ed, see my recent post about Frank J. Symmes of San Francisco, CA for certain during the 1890s through 1910 and possibly longer. He or someone who was related or knew him moved a treasure trove of heavy books and loads of documents, notes, correspondence, and genealogical research going back at least to the 16aughts. It would be wonderful if you are related to this man who was a notable individual for his career.
