Advice before merging these pre-1700 Gawton profiles?

Question

Gawton-19 is a duplicate of Gawton-1 (side-by-side comparison) so they should be merged.

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding?

Or perhaps someone with more WikiTree experience would like to complete the merge? Let me know if you do. Thanks!

They are set as unmerged match. That will have to be removed and merge re-proposed. There is no reason not to proceed with merging they are obviously the same person

I placed them as an unmerged match because Gawton-19 has no sources since FamilySearch is not a source. Yes, they are the same person but there seem to be some mistakes in Gawton-19 and they need to be cleared up before a merge to avoid a complicated resulting profile. Some of the Hunt children on Gawton-19 don't fit in according to the marriage dates on Gawton-1.

I have cleaned up the Gawton-1 profile.

Gawton-19 has now been sourced.

I have made adjustment to the children's bios to clear up that Joane was married twice with children from both marriages.

Then they should be merged and any further research can continue. If you are too busy, then I can do the merge for you and combine the bios.
