Can anyone read the act in 1679? I am thinking it is a Louise, not Jacques.

That one is dated 2 August 1679 and is for a girl, the given name cannot be read due to damage to the document. The father's name is also illegible, starts with Guillaume presumably, the mother is named Marie Blondeau.

Don't see anything for a Jacques Fournier born around the year you have for him.

Thanks for looking at this. I was trying to add sources to an unsourced profile I picked up. Now I am just more confused. I really do appreciate you looking at it.

In the margin I see the name Sarazin. I have looked for a couple with the names Sarazin and Blondeau and have found this marriage: https://www.genealogiequebec.com/Membership/LAFRANCE/acte/81095 in Charlesbourg. The Sarazin/Blondeau couple go on to have several children in Montmagny. 

But, in the act I originally linked, PRDH has linked to Guillaume Fournier as the father and not linked to Marie Blondeau, which is as you say the only legible name in the act. 

I am not sure what to do with the profile.

I think I sent a message to IGD about this one when I first looked at it, since the father's name is indeed illegible and the mother's name is showing.  Don't know what PRDH has to say about it, but they can be in error also.  Or else the thing is wrongly linked somehow.

Have you looked for a funeral for your profile?  If no funeral comes up then I would say this one is spurious, the original upload does say something about ''imported from Merlan's...'' with a caution.
