For profiles year 1500-1699 you need to be pre-1700 certified. Information is here: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Pre-1700_Profiles

For profiles before 1500 there is a different certification process explained here: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Pre-1500_Profiles
