How many mitoYDNA.org users are there?

As of Jul 28, 2020 there were 338 Family Tree DNA mtDNA testees and 459 Y-DNA testees who have their mitoYDNA ID in WikiTree.*

mitoYDNA allows you to view mtDNA differences from the Cambridge Reference Sequence and Y DNA haplotypes via WikiTree.  It allows you to make comparisons of up to 24 people (via WikiTree). mitoYDNA is accessible to all WikiTree users so long has you are registered and logged in at mitoYDNA.org. Like WikiTree, mitoYDNA is collaborative and free.

Second, to upload your mtDNA, use the Chrome browser and install the mitoYDNA Chrome extension.  Step by step instructions to add your mtDNA are at

Peter, I just joined this morning (the WikiTree one on FTDNA).

The Y-DNA clustering tool has been running for me for about 30 minutes.
