How can I remove an accidental mention of a living person?

I was adding some information from a 1976 obituary because it helped to confirm some relationships.  Young children were not named, but a couple of adults, now probably in their 80s and quite possibly living, were mentioned.  I have edited their names out of the profile, but the information is still there in the change history.  Is there any way to remove that, or something else I should do?  In addition to being more careful to begin with, of course.

J, once the information is added and saved to the profile, it will remain in the changes. The only way to go is to change the privacy of the profile in question, but the information will remain in the changes.

Thank you.  I have made the profile Private with Public Family Tree, which seems the closest to what I need.
