There is a good chance that you have many people with the same name in a place.

Often they are cousins in a different line in the family.I once had 5 people with the

same name in the same village and went to same parish.This is quite common

back then.

That question's 2 years old.

In the meantime, some merging's been done.  William's been merged with a different William born a century earlier.  This fixes his date in relation to his father - but leaves him 100 years older than his wife.

The William now there (http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Moleyns-8) did not marry the Ann Colepper. She needs to be detached and her correct husband found.

this is one of those cases where an outline descendant tree would benefit from having dates of marrage and death for spouses.

My belief is that

william moleyns 8 1378-1425 married Margery whalesborough

and they had

richard who married Eleanor, dau of Sir henry Beaumont

and they had William Moleyns c.1479-1503 (m-3) who md Ann culpepper (spellings vary) born 1483

and they had

agnes Ann Moleyns (Molyns-1) born 1487/1506 who married Thomas Bennett. Son of William Bennett. Agnes was not Countess Tankerville.

Ah, so perhaps at some point two different generations got merged together, ending up with Ann Culpepper married to her husband's grandfather. ;-)
