New member introducing myself

Hi there from Queensland Australia. I am new to the whole family tree journey even though I dabbled for a while several years ago. Now that I am retired hopefully I will be able to get more involved.

My first brick wall concerns my father Samuel Garnett Scott born 1925-26 in Glen Innes in New South Wales Australia. I have found quite a deal of info but not when and where he died. As far as I can find out it was more than likely somewhere in the sixties - probably around 63-64.

It may be that he changed his name and didn't want to be found given the lifestyle he was known to live.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I cannot give you much assistance in breaking down your brick wall since I'm not Australian, but I know there are many here who can give you ideas of where to look for clues to what happened to your grandfather.
