Hi,

We need to make sure a merge goes the correct way.  Can Hannah (Unknown) Thayer get PP through either Massachusetts Project or as a PGM Adjunct?

Thank you!

Done. Her profile is unsourced. Would be great to encourage profile managers to strengthen it.

Thank you. In this case I think it can mostly just be copied from her husbands profile.  I will do that.

Since there is nothing more concrete in Thayer Families Association, I would agree with copying from her husband's profile as long as it does not come from Bezaleel Thayer's notably inaccurate Memorial of the Thayer Name.

If there is some evidence that her maiden name was Carle, I would be interested to see it, but have seen nothing in my research.

M Cole, thank you!!

Thanks, I took another look at the info on the children, and it was a blend of info from the Thayer Memorial with notes correcting those dates.  When I added the list to Hannah's profile, I just simplified it to be what was in Sprague/or Braintree Vital Records. Take a look and please check my edits.  Then maybe we can copy that back over to Thomas.

I noticed too that there are a couple of daughters that probably need to be removed. Margery (who I actually think is Margery (Wheeler) Thayer, and should be merged. And Mary (Thayer) Jackson, who I think is probably an unknown.  If she is a Thayer there is no reason to believe she is from this line.
I agree with the children as given in 2.1 Children of Thomas Thayer and Hannah, with the exception that Elisabeth was the third child.  I have no record of Margery, nor of Mary Thayer Jackson, not in TFA nor in the Braintree records which I went through with a fine tooth comb.  I agree that she is an unknown.  I would think Margery was most likely my immigrant ancestor's wife [and could be merged], but where does the 1645 birth year originate?

Also, I have no record of Deborah born to Thomas and Hannah as shown on pg 1618 of Sprague.  Patricia Muno does not have her included in TFA and I was unable to find her in VRs.

Just an FYI, I do have Mary Neale as John's wife, and that she was sister of Ebenezer's wife, Ruth Jackson Neale.

Thanks Cinde.  I moved Elizabeth up to #3.

Deborah's death record is here.  (The page number is 640 (not 40 as was there before). Obviously, Sprague was doing some guessing to assign her to Thomas & Hannah. But especially since she died young...I think its fine to include her especially with the text of the record quoted in the citation.

Also updated the wife for John, (I think the other may have come from Thayer Memorial)

As for Margery...I've worked on some of the other profiles that were imported with that database (or created from that tree), and there several conflated profiles.  The only source on the record is actually from Blackstone, MA, recording her Braintree birth long after the fact.  But, I should get rid of the birth date before attempting to merge.

We just need PP removed to detach the children.

Removed. Let us know when you're done so we can put it back.
Okay, done.  I added profiles for the two sons named Isaac, so all connections are complete.  Can we PPP husband Thomas as well?   Thank you!
PPP back on Hannah.

Not sure Thomas qualifies for PPP; please say more.
