What should you do with living profiles you do not want to manage? I seem to have a number of them from before the privacy changes.

It depends.  If you are the only person on the Trusted List, you cannot 'orphan' them.  There has to be at least one person on there.  If someone else is also on the TL, then you can remove yourself as manager by going to the Privacy tab and scrolling down until you see the people on the Trusted List.  Against your name will be [remove as manager].

You can queue them for deletion or add Admin WikiTree as profile manager (my understanding is that the profile will usually get deleted in that case, but I  may be completely wrong).

The only other alternative is to get someone else to manage them, but you have to take care there is no breach of privacy.
