Advice before editing this pre-1700 Stahlman profile?

I have information to contribute to the profile of Elizabeth Stahlman. This is what I can add:

  • The text biography gives a believable birth year, 1635.
  • I adopted the profile only to make this one change: the year of birth at the top said "about 1655" -- but she was married in 1655 and had her second child in 1658.
  • I don't know anything else about her; I just wanted to correct that obvious error.
  • I am a Stahlman descendant, but not necessarily of this pre-1700 person.  I will gladly let someone else take over this profile.

These are the sources I am using:

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding? Thank you!

Thanks for adopting the profile, Jonathan. The first thing I notice is that the profile doesn't meet any pre-1700 sourcing standards so I would add {{Unsourced}} above the word Biography in edit mode and then add [[Category:Switzerland, Unsourced Profiles]] with the categorization tool. That will feed the profile into a list of profiles Sourcers and others review to assist in finding proper documentation. Hopefully you can find some basic sourcing to add to this profile.
Thank you!
