Error in attempting Rootsearch

Question

I just created Floyde Oscar Schilling (Schilling-1244) this morning, but in trying to open Rootsearch to get sources, I repeatedly get "Unable to load the person.  Check ID and try again."  What did I do wrong?

I tried that ID and didn't have any problem getting in, so I don't know.  (I see the interface and format has changed since I used it last.)  Have you tried logging out of WikiTree and then logging back in?

I also created profiles this AM and I also encountered the same difficulty. I abandoned the effort at that point to use Rootsearch and instead went directly to www.familysearch.org and encountered no difficulty

Thank you both for your comments.  I have added new profiles this afternoon and have had no further problems with Rootsearch.  I have not yet checked out the original problem profile, however.

If you continue to have problems, the only other thing I can think of to suggest is to add the tag "bugs" to the question and wait for the techies to take a look at it.

I'm still not seeing any problem with Schilling-1244.  I don't think there's anything wrong with Rootsearch.  If you're still having trouble, I think you'll need to look closer to home for the problem.

Thank you all.  Schilling-1244 is now sourced without any further problems.  Rootsearch is working fine.
