In general there are two options I suggest:

  1. download a Gedcom, have wikitree use that to search for matches already present
  2. Use your tree on Ancestry as the template and manually create the profiles, making sure you are not creating duplicates and add all the real sources (deeds, links, certificates).
Adding sources is the real deal here and will make your branch trustworthy. I am sure you will hit a profile that is already present, thus making a connection.

If you decide to do a gedcom, make a small one first to understand the process. You will have to compare each person one at a time, before you actually start adding profiles to wikitree. It is not like other places where you dump it all in at once.
