This photo was probably taken in January 1919 perhaps the same date as her mother's funeral. Her mother died on 31 December 1918, and was buried in the Alton Cemetery, Alton, Ontario. 

It is possible that this photo was taken in Galt, Ontario about the same date

Excellent photo M, Thank You for sharing this painful day in Murial and Williams's life. It"s not hard to see the grief on their faces. Gotta love her winter coat though.

Thank You, Susan. The photo that M shared is a great example of why I love photos so much. Pictures don't lie. When asked 'How are you feeling?'  people often will say fine. Body language and facial expressions don't lie.
