How do I fix error 895 Using Deprecated parameter in template? [closed]

I have a suggestion "895 Using Deprecated parameter in template" on the {{World War II}} sticker for a World War II veteran. As far as I can tell, I'm using it correctly. The deprecated parameter it's complaining about is "branch=United States Navy". I've entered the parameter exactly as described in the template instructions. What is wrong with this entry?

{{World War II
|branch=United States Navy
|startdate=14 May 1942
|units=USS ''LST-5'', USS ''LST-905''
|enddate=26 Nov 1945
|rank=CBM}}

[Note, when I copied it to this post I realized it was missing the "rank=" parameter heading so it just had "CBM" on the line without the identifier. Could that have somehow caused the error? If so, it should be fixed to identify the error correctly.]

Thanks!

Yes. missing rank= means the parameter was only "CMB" and that is treated as unnamed parameter 1. I will try to improve the info column to make it more clear that the unnamed parameter is the problem.

I have just adopted a profile and I get the same message. I have no understanding of it. It is in relation to Northway-125. Can anyone advise or correct please.

Suggestion in your case is about sub parameter in Global Cemeteries template.

Sub parameter was Deprecated and is no longer used. so in your case you should delete the parameter

|sub=Australia
I corrected it for you so you can see the changes.
Thank you
