Help reading Dutch birth certificate [closed]

+4 votes
I am trying to read the relationship(s) of the witnesses to the mother on this Birth Certificate (1813, Zandvoort, Nederland).

Reason for asking is to try to identify the mother (parents, possible marriage later on).

The witnesses are named Arend and Gerrit Groeneveld and Bernardus van der Sluijs, but is there a link to the mother mentioned?

Alvast bedankt!

Hi there, that scan quality is really really poor, so: . The people listed:
- Arend Groeneveld, 62 years old, seinwachter living in Zandvoort
- Maartje Paap Janesdr, vischkoopster, living in Zanvoort house 58.
- Gerardus Wilhelmus van Riet, child
- Gerrit Groeneveld, 28 years old, shoemaker, living in Zandvoort, witness
- Bernardus van der Sluijs, 30 years old, prepose at the imperial customs (Rijksdouanebeambte), living in Zandvoort

That being said, the mother has already been identified by the population reconstruction at and also shows the reasoning behind it all: . Apparently, she was born in 1790 in Zandvoort, as her sister Jaapje also gave birth in house Nr 58, and that sister was also married to a "Rijksdouanebeambte" :-)

Thanks very much. And that link clarifies a lot. It is a bit hard to match up those pages with the DTB records (eg Groeveld versus Groen on )
No problem :)
TY Willem!
