Posey Askins parents

Question

I am looking for any help on the family search of Posey Askins b.4/17/1781or 5/18/1782 in Virginia (?) d. 5/30/1867 in Fairfield County, Ohio. He was married to Nancy Barnes on 11/2/1807 in Va. They moved Ohio in 1832. I am trying to fins his parents.

Amy, do you have a profile number for Posey? I looked for him on the Family Tree Search app and couldn't find him.

He must have moved to Frederick County, VA, just before his marriage. He is in the 1809 personal property tax list (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSQK-R9WQ-B?i=234&cat=777451) but not the 1807 one (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSQK-R9WW-W?i=219cat=777451). Unfortunately the land tax lists and the deeds that might give more insight into his move to Frederick County are currently not accessible (at least to me).
