Working on the Briggs family.

Question

I'm not sure about Briggs-9190 (father Ebenezer 1686- as in Briggs-2219), Son Ebenezer 1714-1808-Briggs-9191 and John Briggs 1726-1799-Briggs-9192 (Last one possibly same as Briggs-6348. John Briggs 1718-1799.) Both 9192 & 6348 married Charity Hathaway.

Ebenezer died 30 Mar 1725-1726 is in Mary Viola (Vaughan) Skeels line. (Need to confirm if possible before adding him to Skeels Study.)

Because I was uncertain I went to Family Search and there the following was recorded: William Harvey (LVCP-5TR) Harvey-243 1614-?1658 married Joan Hucker (LTM3-58) 1616-1683 (Born Somerset England; died Cohasset Norfolk MA) on 2 Apr 1639 Plymouth British Colonial America. Their children listed as: 1)Anne Briggs (G37B-WXR) 1637-1707; 2)Experience (Harvery) Briggs (K26P-8DM) 1644-1720 m. Jonathan Briggs 1664 MA Bay British Colonial America. Jonathan 1635-1690;  3)Miriam Briggs (G3WM-3TJ) 1714-15 May 1810; 4&5)John (G37B-DF5) & Prudence Briggs (G37Y-BTN) born 1745. Prudence died Brandon, Rutland, Vermont. 6)Mary Briggs (G37B-6K2) 1751 Taunton-28 Oct 1822 Athol, Worcester MA; 7)Abigail Briggs 1755-Jan 1831 both Taunton; 8)Elizabeth Briggs (G3W9-MDN) born Taunton-died 1797; 9)Hannah Briggs (G3W9-MYQ) born Taunton-4 Feb 1832 Norton Bristol MA; & 10) Relief Briggs (G3WM-2ZZ).

To me the surname Briggs is incorrect. Can anyone help me?  Thanking you.

Would you pinpoint the location of where you see the Briggs surname as being incorrect?

I agree with you that William Harvey and Joan Hucker had children surnamed Harvey.  It appears to me that you're looking at a family tree on FamilySearch that has been conflated with the Briggs family.

For example, I see a birth record for their daughter in Experience Harvey in Boston.  Its possible she married a Briggs. ThIs line would need to be built carefully based on the primary records, I would be reluctant to use an online tree.
